Lord Balaji:

Sri Venkateshwara , also known as Venkatachalapathy, Srinivasa and Balaji, is a form of the Hindu god Vishnu in India.
Venkateshwara means the Lord who destroys the sins of the people. According the Hindu scriptures, Vishnu, out of love
towards his devotees, incarnated as Venkateshwara and appeared for the salvation and upliftment of humanity in this Kali Yuga and is considered the supreme form of Vishnu in this age.

Construction:

On 1st Feb 1979(Shaka era 1900 Sri Kalyukti Naam Samvatsar -magh shukla Panchami) Amma installed the idol of Sri venkateshwara on Yanagundi Hillock.

Navratri festival and Dasara are celebrated in grand manner. The Day before Navratri, Silver 'Pallaki' with Lord Venkateshwara's idol is brought from Sri A.N.Manik Rao's home in Narayanpet in a grand procession to Yanagundi and worshipped till Dasara.
